Achieving World Class Cancer Outcomes for Our Communities
The Cancer Alliance brings together all the organisations that commission and provide cancer services in the Humber, Coast and Vale area, enabling effective and co-ordinated partnership working to improve patient experience.
Our Aims
In 2015 an Independent Cancer Taskforce Strategy set out an ambitious vision for improving services, care and outcomes for everyone with cancer:
Fewer people getting cancer, more people surviving cancer
More people having a good experience of their treatment and care, whoever they are and wherever they live
Supporting our local population to make positive lifestyle choices which minimises their risk of cancer
People becoming aware of the signs and symptoms of suspected cancer and responding appropriately
