The Alliance brings together all the organisations that commission and provide cancer services in our area, enabling effective and co-ordinated partnership working to improve patient experience.
In 2015 an Independent Cancer Taskforce Strategy set out an ambitious vision for improving services, care and outcomes for everyone with cancer.
Humber, Coast and Vale is one of 21 cancer alliances set up across England, to work towards this vision.
Awareness and early diagnosis
The Alliance seeks to improve cancer survival rates by ensuring more people are diagnosed at an earlier stage; by improving cancer awareness and uptake of screening.
Diagnostics
We are working to understand where the gaps in diagnostic capacity are and work with partners across the Alliance to develop strategic plans for radiology, pathology and endoscopy services.

Patient Stories
To help recognise how cancer services can be planned and delivered in the future, we need to understand patient experiences.

Cancer Champions
It’s easy to become a Cancer Champion. Take part in a free awareness session and learn how to spot the early signs of cancer.
