Community Network

The Humber, Coast and Vale Cancer Alliance Community Network represents the patient, carer and service users’ voice. It puts the public at the heart of decisions about cancer services.

Our Community Network is just one of the ways in which Humber, Coast and Vale Cancer Alliance is working with those affected by cancer across our area to ensure their experiences and views influence the work that we do and the decisions we take.

Anyone affected by cancer is welcome to join – patients and their families, carers, service users – we want to make sure our network is as diverse as possible, in terms of the types of cancers experience and demographic of our members.

Being a member of the Community Network is voluntary and the level of involvement is tailored by you and your preferences. You could participate in a variety of ways, from reading and advising on information for patients, to attending meetings or communicating feedback via email and/or telephone discussions. Member activity can be as little or as much as you would like!

Complete the form below to join the Community Network, or for more information contact our Macmillan Communications and Engagement Officer, Sarah Rowland.

If you would like to get involved, we would love to see you at our first meeting:

26th September 2019
10.30am – 12pm
Hessle Town Hall, HU13 0RR
